  • Formatting Needs

This unpublished document is to help editors know what needs to be updated in chapters to improve formatting.

    Include Abstracts

The content of the Short Description section should be moved into the Abstract field by copy/pasting it into the Settings of each chapter. It should then be deleted from the body of the text.

    Format Teaching & Learning Goals

The learning goals should be moved into a callout box.

The title should also be updated to match the rest of the headings by removing the ampersand: "Teaching and learning goal" instead of "Teaching & learning goals"

    Format References

Each reference list item should have the Reference style added to allow for hanging indentation. The system can try to find these for you by editing the chapter and clicking Chapter > Functions > Find References.

    Remove Empty Paragraphs

While editing the chapter, click Chapter > Functions > Remove empty paragraphs.
