    Cecil R. Short is an Assistant Professor of Secondary Education at Emporia State University. His research focuses on Personalized Learning, Blended Teaching, Open Educational Resources (OER), and OER-Enabled Practices. Prior to earning his Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology from Brigham Young University in 2021, Dr. Short served as a high school English teacher outside of Kansas City, Missouri.
