Melissa Franklin is a Master's Student in the Department of Instructional Psychology and Technology in the College of Education at Brigham Young University. She does research in the areas of micro-credentials, student agency and assessment, and informal and free-choice learning and evaluation. She works as a higher education instructional design assistant in online learning and is currently developing training for new instructional design assistants. She also has experience in music education and teaching English as a Second Language.
